Hobbies & Skills: An Explanation

78. Learn to sew.
Every time I need a button reattached or an article of clothing hemmed, I go running to my mommy because I never learned how to sew. By the time I reached Middle/High school, Home Ec was all but non existent. So really, it's not my fault that I never learned but that doesn't give me an excuse to never learn how.

79. Learn to drive a car with a manual transmission.
I have been "taught" twice: the first time by my college roommate Melanie and the second was by Andrew. The first time was more successful than the latter, when I almost reversed into someone's mailbox during a thunderstorm. This is something I want to master, as I feel it is something everyone should know how to do.

80. Get re-certified in CPR and first aid.
I was certified in CPR and first aid all through high school and college because it was required for my job working with kids. My certification has since expired and I think it's important to get a refresher course, especially before we have kids.

81. Read 200 books
82. Read all the Books in the Alphabet Series.
83. Re-read the Harry Potter Series (again!)
84. Read 5 Banned Books
85. Read 25 of the 1001 Books You Must Read Before You Die
86. Read all books in the “Prey” series by John Sandford
87. Read all books in the “Alex Cross” series by James Patterson
I love to read. I read during my lunch break and every night before bed. I have several reading goals because I want to make sure I am reading a variety of books and maybe even some books I normally wouldn't read.

88. Have more than 10 followers at Laura’s Sweet Treats.
As I said in this post, this goal was originally 25 followers but I changed it because I wasn't sure it was possible. It will be interesting to see how many I have when the 1001 days are over. If you love goodies and drooling over pictures of yummy treats, go check it out!

89. Bowl a 200.
I really don't think this one is possible, but a girl can wish, can't she? The highest I've ever bowled was probably in the 170's. This goal would probably be more attainable if I got my own ball that was actually contoured to fit my hand, but we haven't been bowl often enough to validate a purchase like this.

90. Crochet something.
My mom taught me how to crochet several years ago, but I never completed anything. The first step is probably going to be me re-learning how to crochet, since at this point I don't really even remember how.
