30. Try at least two new recipes a month.
It's so easy to get in a rut when it comes to making dinner. We have definite favorites, and sometimes it's just easier to keep eating them week after week instead of hunting for new recipes. But my goal is to get into a routine of trying a couple of new things each month.
31. Host a holiday cookie swap.
I really like making all my own Christmas cookies, but some year it would be nice to share the dirty work but still have all the great goodies.
32. Go to 10 different breakfast places.
Breakfast is my favorite meal of the day, and I love trying out different places.
33. Take Wilton cake decorating courses.
In case you don't already know, I love to bake. I make almost all of the cakes for birthdays at work, and I would love to learn some professional decorating techniques so I can take my cakes from "average" to "amazing."
34. Host a Dinner Party.
I chose this because it's fun to pull out the fancy china every once-in-a-while and dazzle friends and family with our mad cooking skills. :)
35. Eat a well-balanced breakfast every morning for a week.
I usually eat cereal every morning because 1) it's delicious and 2) it's quick and easy. But for one whole week, I would love to make an effort to eat things like real oatmeal, fresh fruit, scrambled eggs, English muffins with honey, etc.
36. Complete “12 Days of Cookies.”
Like I said before, I like making Christmas cookies and I though this would be a fun (and delicious!) challenge. And it was.
37. Organize all of my recipes.
My recipes are literally all over the place. I've started purging out recipes I've printed out over the last year or so, but there is still a lot of work to be done here. My goal is to condense all my recipes into a nice three ring binder so they are no longer floating around the house.
